Intranasal silicone splints

Flexible silicone sheets positioned on either side of the nasal septum following surgery. They support the septum in its corrected position during healing and help to prevent the formation of adhesions between the septum and the lateral nasal wall.

    Flat, flexible splints manufactured from medical-grade silicone.

  • Design with airway tube

    Incorporates a tube that permits nasal breathing while the splints remain in position.

  • Adult and paediatric sizes

    Available in sizes suitable for adult and paediatric patients.

  • Presentation

    Supplied sterile, packed in pairs, for single use only.

  • Indicated for use after

    Septoplasty, septorhinoplasty and other septal and turbinate procedures.

External nasal splints

Rigid splints applied over the nasal dorsum. They protect the nose and assist in maintaining the position of bone and soft tissue during the early stages of healing.

  • Thermoplastic, mouldable

    Softens on the application of heat, is shaped to the nose and becomes rigid as it cools.

  • Padded aluminium

    Malleable aluminium with a padded lining, shaped by hand to the contours of the nose.

  • Indicated for use after

    Rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty and closed reduction of nasal fractures.

The selection of splint or packing, and the period for which it remains in position, are determined by the treating surgeon. The instructions for use supplied with each product must be followed.
